Top Performances That You Might Have Missed At Hard Rock Cafe

Music is a form of art, and the essence of art is caught while it’s done live. Maybe this is the reason why music lovers cherish attending shows and watching videos of favourite artists on YouTube and other streaming sites. With that said, we have good news for indie enthusiasts across India; Hard Rock Café is now streaming videos of performances by India bands that have graced their venue. Now the gigs will just be a click away, how cool is that. This can be an alternative to staying close to the group you love, if at all you miss their show. In this article we look at few performances across HRC, that caught our eye.

Agam.

One outfit that adds a cool quotient to the fusion genre. They have something about them – a visceral appeal, perhaps?

Girish and the Chronicles.

They are one of the most popular bands in India, without a doubt. With Girish’s powerful vocal, matched with the bands phenomenal musicality, this group is a musical rage monster.

Parikrama

Talking about Parikrama is like questioning the indie music scene itself. We think we should just leave it at that!

Indian Ocean

When this outfit started out in the early nineties they were are revaluation – well composed melodies, vocal harmonies, you name it. Go back to albums like Jhini and the OST of Black Friday, and it will give you a glimpse of the genius of this group.

Swarathma

We sometimes wonder how folk-rock can be this cool? Their songs are simple, yet complex, if you scratch the surface. If you want to know more about the current state of affaire then then you don’t have to go far.

Dark Light

The band described themselves (in their social media page) as a soulful mix of progressive elements, ambient psychedelic soundscapes and the drive and energy of stadium rock. We thought so too!
