Up Your Style Quotient This IPL Season Finale
The IPL excitement is finally coming to an end. It is already that time of the year where we pick a winner, crown them and celebrate. As an ardent fan you might have decided to either watch the game at the stadium or at a sports bar or by bunking with friends at an IPL house party. Where ever you be, be your fashion best and up your style game. Because, at the very heart of it, that’s exactly how a truly stylish man dresses. However if you are wondering how to up your sartorial game, we bring to you a bunch of simple pointers that will help you do so.
Embrace a few styles that are trending: Prints are still around. Pair a fine print shirt with a pair of jeans or shorts. Accessorize this look with boat shoes or your favorite trainers, a backpack and a nice pair of straw hat. Skip the hat if you are not headed outdoors. Replace that with a bomber jacket, which can be removed once you are indoors. If you are headed outdoors, do not forget to smear copious amount of sun block.
The Gentleman’s Game: Cricket is indeed a gentleman’s game. If you intend to wear a look inspired by this thought, then go slightly retro. For this you will need a fedora, a checkered jacket or a light cardigan in bright colors. The idea is to only incorporate retro as a hint. Therefore team this with jeans, khakis or slacks. Wear a solid color shirt with your checkered jacket or a plaid shirt with your plain cardigan. Wear a nice watch and a pair of loafers or brogues and you are set to watch the game in style.
The Sports Look: If you’re intention is to concentrate on the game only, but still be effortlessly stylish. Try the complete sporty look. A varsity jacket teamed with a basic T-shirt. Wear them with jeans or with a pair of track pants. Stay clear from your gym wear though. Instead wear the slim fit double lining ones. These do not look too casual and are apt for the games, whether you are watching it indoor or outdoor. Team this with a baseball cap and sneakers.
The Medley Look: If your idea is to mix and match instead of sticking to a particular look then try teaming a basic fitted T-shirt with a pair of khakis. Wear them with either sneakers or your loafers. Team this with a smart pair of sunglasses that are slightly more classic, like the aviators or the ray bans. Layer this with a jacket, either the bomber kinds or light summer jacket and by end of this activity your mixed and matched look would be perfected.
