The Man's Guide To Shoes

We know how summers force us to wear everything open-ended. Well yes, because it so hopelessly hot that everything just seems to melt down. Hot heads & hot heels give us some grief. And, we don’t know about the hot heads but we sure know how to cool off those heels.

There is nothing cliché about it till we get the facts straight, and the fact is that, my dear Men, there is not an uglier sight than seeing a man flipping his way in tight leather shoes on a hot summer afternoon

.

The point is, that shoes suck the hell out of fashion. Instead,

Sneaker are cool, but we’re a little high strung on a more evolved category of sneakers again ;-) We call them the HIGH TOP SNEAKERS.

High tops are generally limited to casual occasions, but when canvas is replaced with leather, they can become seriously swanky. Case in point: The above pair from Kenneth Cole is a smooth, shiny cap toe and lace up design. The black leather detailing and a contrasting white stripe keeps the overall feel very athletic and sexy.

Stylist’s Tip: Denim is the best mate. Wear these with a pair of dark colored jeans, or a super- distressed jeans. Try them with a Denim Shirt that shows more goodness of your upper half.

Though, Sandals are most often worn in summers to help keep feet cool and dry, but more importantly they help Men look effortless and casual. A man who’s confident of him can pull up a pair of sandals just the way he can rock a pair of boots!

Stylist’s Tip: Keep it simple. Indian men should experiment with Linen Kurtas, jeans and sandals all outfitted together.

Gladiator sandals have been hugely popular for the past few summers and show no sign of slowing down. Perhaps it’s because there’s something about them that brings memories of Parisian streets and endless walks on the beach to our mind.
