Party Primper Cues - Grooming For A Night Out

Weekend after weekend, party after party we cannot deny but benders are fun. These are also the perfect playground to catch up with friends, meet new people and socialize. Thus it is imperative that you clean up well before making an appearance. Of course this isn’t an easy job. You might be directly coming from work after a hectic day; you may be pressed for time or generally hung over from the previous night. None of this however is a good excuse for lack of grooming. Create an action plan, gather the necessary tools and get on it.

The Essential Routine- Any grooming routine must begin with clean hands. We often touch our face with our palms. Considering we touch a whole bunch of other things with our hands as well, it is important to keep them clean at all times. Wash them as regularly as possible; else keep a hand sanitizer handy. Next step is to exfoliate. This removes all the dead cells therefore exposing the fresh clean skin underneath. You instantly look healthier after this. Do this once a week and reserve this over the weekends before your night out.

Get rid of the grease- A greasy face is no fun and they make you shine weirdly, especially under night lights. Keep a mattifying face wash handy. This reduces the excessive oil and gives you a fresh look.  Use them twice a day and make a point to wash your face with it before heading out. If you are unable to find some water around to wash your face , use face wipes as they are good substitutes and wipes out that grim quiet well.

Hair care- Once your face is taken care of, next is to concentrate on the hair. Develop a similar routine to care for your hair. Hot oil massages and conditioning steam washes once a week help maintain a healthy scalp that shines. Wash your hair with a mild shampoo every alternate day. If you want your hair to look lustrous and healthy, party after party a hair care routine is a must.

Quick Fixes- If however, you are unable to wash your hair before a night out, no need to worry. Simply invest in a dry shampoo. Dry shampoos can be sprayed on to your hair a couple of hours before heading out. No need of water and certainly no wet hair. Comb it through and set it well. The end result is the same, clean, fresh, non greasy hair.

Fragrance- If you intend to party hard and all night long, you will need a stronger perfume or deodorant than what you normally use. Most party places will be packed, there will be dancing and socializing in close proximity. You cannot afford to smell foul. It is the biggest party pooper. Invest in a good quality fragrance that isn’t to strong on your neighbor’s nose. A subtle fragrance that will last all night long is what you need.

Clean and Pressed clothes- Clothes help you make an appearance like nothing else can. You could be coming straight from work or from anywhere else. However, this is no excuse to turn up in soiled, crumpled or stained clothes. As a backup plan always carry an extra pair of shirt in your car. It might never come in handy; thanks to your local dhobi and your ironing skills, but precaution is always a good idea.

Clean face, fresh hair, good fragrance and neat clothes should be your flow chart before hitting the parties.
