Must-have Non Pretentious Accessories in 2015

New season brings new trends, as a result last season's sartorial wheat can become this season's chaff. The cycle of trends as we know, is constantly in motion. Though most men are aware of this, comprehending new trends becomes a herculean task. Therefore, many promptly give up on accessories and the likes to concentrate on essentials. This my friends can only get you so far in the stylish men's club. So what does one do?  Follow all trends and try them out one by one while you lose your sense of personal style?definitely not! What you can do is sift through your closet and ensure you have the following list of non pretentious accessories to help you get through various occasions.

Watches: Since the inception of accessories these have always been man's best accessory. It may be 2015 but watches are ruling.  A pocket watch for Victorian dressing, a classic watch with a leather strap to go with your formal wear and a shiny metallic watch for when the occasion calls for something more dressy. These three variants of watches can easily stylise various outfits whatever the occasion maybe.

The Man Bag: This is a relatively recent addition to the list of must haves when we speak of accessories for men. Late maybe, but most men will agree that the man bag has simplified and organised their lives while they are on the move. A mid size bag that holds your laptop sleeve, phones, organisers, documents and one that can occasionally serve as an overnight bag should be good to go.

Footwear:  You may have a gigantic shoe closet. Unless you own a pair of white sneakers, a pair of open sandals in minimalistic design made of pure leather and a pair of loafers you cannot boast of a capsule shoe closet to get you through various occasions. You can put together any ensemble and these will fit in just perfectly. Casual, formal and ethnic wear, rest assured will work with these three.

Ties and Bow-ties: You have a free hand when it comes to skinny ties and bow-ties in prints and bold colours. Own how many ever you want. No upper limit on that. Ties, both regular and bow-ties can amp up casual and formal outfits with equal elan.  Specially ties with prints and patterns on them are quirky and can instantly spiff your look.

Jackets: The English gents staple, popularized by TV shows like Mad Men and the likes. Pinstripe jackets and Trench coats demand attention. The essentials of power dressing and even otherwise are indispensable wardrobe must haves. Don't invest in bulky jackets or chunky trench coats. This will ensure you can wear it all year round. Layer it with other elements during winter or team them with your shirts and T-shirts during summer months.
