4 Ultimate Monsoon Must-Dos: Choose The Right Footwear
StyleSaute rounds up some of the seasons best gear for staying fashionable yet functional during July showers.
When you have to step outside in humid, rainy weather, function often overrides fashion, we say. Luckily, we have some great recommendations and some good ones in the post to follow. We’d also bust a few myths about a brand! How you should NOT listen to a few style tips, because fashion sometimes struggles to be functional; however your own comfort level should make the rules
Here, we decode a few simple tips while selecting the right footwear for Monsoon.
1. Say NO to Leather Shoes in Monsoon- It not only is an unsightly item to wear in the rainy season but it also heavily jeopardizes your expensive leather footwear.
2. Avoid Closed Footwear- We know how a lot of people will tell you to wear Converse/Sports shoes in the Monsoon. We won’t have a lot to say here except that wearing Sneakers/Closed shoes is a bad idea as -
a) Wet sneakers don’t dry easily and look trashy, 2) Closed shoes in a humid weather may harbor germs around your feet.
Choose a comfortable fit that is moderately fashionable yet functional, like this pair that we love.
3.Flip Flops are RISKY but preferable: Please do not try wearing the bathroom rubber slippers under the pretext of wearing Flip Flops. All chappals are not Flip Flops. All Slippers are also not Flip Flops.
4.CROCS Can be Stylish, Sometimes: Yes we know, StyleSaute can be a little unpredictable sometimes, but the truth is that all Crocs are not clog-gy and ugly. We especially love this pair here.
We love Bonus! Here’s an extra STYLESAUTE’s Tip for you. Carry a pair of “Foldable-Loafers” that you switch to, when you arrive at a meeting! If you wish to buy anything from the pictures shown above, or are looking for a personalized suggestion, do drop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
