There are certain things in life that you don't necessarily need to understand in order to instantly recognize that they're uber-cool. Robots are certainly one of them! Our fascination with the machines are so obvious from the work done in the Hollywood. There have been cyborgs, androids, replicants, fembots and each one of them has in their own way made their presence felt. We bring together a list of the hottest robots which compels one to compliment on the marvel of human imagination.
Aiko – Aiko translates to the 'beloved one' in Japanese and is the outcome of the thought process of the inventor Le Trung. The intention behind the creation of Aiko, is to achieve the near-perfect woman and with each iteration, she seems to become increasingly beautiful and human-like since her inception in 2007.

TOPIO - A humanoid robot designed for one thing and that is to play ping pong against human beings. Standing at a 6 feet tall and about 250 pounds, Topio is probably the fittest looking male robot out there.

Honda ASIMO – It might look like an astronaut but it is indeed pretty smart in its own way. With little hands and bent knees, this bot can do things that others can’t even think of. Honda has made Asimo a bit more human-sensitive, giving it the ability to recognize different people by combining both voice and face recognition even if different people are speaking simultaneously.

Curiosity – All hail the great one from the outer space! Curiosity is by the far the most talked about robot of this century and one that has been making quite the news headlines in the past couple of years. With NASA’s unbeatable technology and the ability to sustain the most unforgiving terrains, Curiosity must be the most talked about bot not only in humans, but also among those robots with AI.

Siri – While Siri may not have a humanoid form, she’s probably as close as it gets to have a virtual friend who also has a sense of humor. Siri comes in many languages and also in a male voice. Talking to her, cracking jokes, asking for directions and much more, Siri’s at your service. It is actually a foresight into how it will for us to interact with machines by having a conversation.
