Love you December!
Almost every time when the month of December arrives, it feels like every single year flies faster than the first…actually it’s more like it sways faster. Time, truly, is relative; and the calendar is simply and mainly a structured device to help us measure time.
And how long or short, time would feel, would depend upon how many drinks you're down, along with other situational circumstances.
So to help you relate your time with better taste and since the ‘Party Month’ is here, here are 2 fabulous recipes-
60 ml Signature whisky
1 small part of lemongrass (the stem)
10 ml (1 tsp) honey
½ tsp jaggery
30 ml mango juice
Muddle the lemon grass well. Add the remaining ingredients except ice and stir vigorously. Shake with some ice and fine strain/double strain into a whisky glass with ice. Garnish with a thin lemon grass stick.Garnish with lemon grass stick or Basil leaf
Optional: to give the glass a rim of a mix of jaggery and amchur powder.
Crème de la Café Crème
60 ml Antiquity
15 ml espresso or strong black coffee (1/2tsp)
60 ml whipped cream
2 pieces of melted chocolate- preferably lint or galaxy or dark chocolate.
(Melt the chocolate over a fire or nuke it)
Few shavings- orange zest.
1 crunchy chocolate chip cookie
Shake all the ingredients (except the cookie) together with ice and pour into a whisky glass. Crush the cookie over the drink; pour a thin circle of cream and 2 coffee beans.
