Sin-Apple

Ingredients:

45 ml Signature Whisky

15 ml Honey

A little of Cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg

A small piece of ginger

2 orange slices sliced in half

1/th a tsp. of tea powder

120 ml apple juice

60 ml Water

Method:

Place a pan on the fire.

Drop in the orange slices.

Soon after, pour the whisky and honey. Drop in the spices and muddled ginger and stir till the drink heats up a little (So, for about a minute, with the above proportions).

Add the apple juice and water and stir.

Add the tea and let the drink heat till warm (for about half a minute).

Fine strain/ Tea strain into a brandy balloon.

Garnish with the same orange slice (No stirrer or straw).

And, like certain warm beverage cups say, "Caution: Hot Beverage", let's follow that rule.

Some Tips:

# This is a great option for when someone has a bad throat or the weather is a bit chilly. An extremely soothing and relaxing beverage that you can enjoy with a great company

# You could also take this beverage cold by not adding the 60 ml of water while heating and pour the concoction over ice in a tall glass. Thus, the melted ice water will fill up for the water we skipped in the heating process.

# For the mocktail version, just skip the whisky and keep everything else the same.

# The proportions of ingredients for the Sin-Apple are for a single cocktail. Thus multiply the quantity by the number of guests you plan to serve. Like if it's 100 guests, just add 2 zeros - Whisky goes from 45 ml to 4 1/2 litres and so on.

So happy celebrating...
