When Anil Kapoor Ditched The Luxury

Previous Next

We all know Bollywood stars are used to a luxurious and comfortable lifestyle, but sometimes they too love to indulge in the simple pleasures of life and enjoy the perks of being a common man.

Recently, it was the 24 actor, Anil Kapoor who decided to give a ditch to luxury and boarded the local train in Mumbai along with his wife Sunita Kapoor.

The Welcome Back actor may have a fleet of super fancy cars like BMW 7-series, Mercedes S-Class, Audi etc., but no amount of luxury can ever help him escape the Mumbai traffic, especially during the festive season. Hence, recently, during one of the Ganapati visarjan day, the actor decided to skip taking the car and instead traveled by local train to avoid getting stuck in the jam.

Anil, who would soon be seen in Anees Bazmee’s Mubaraka along with nephew Arjun Kapoor, enjoyed his train ride immensely and took to his social networking page to share pictures of his memorable ride.

He tweeted — ‘Avoiding the visarjan traffic & earning brownie points for getting home on time with the wife!’

He further added — ‘What would have taken us 2hrs today took us 20mins #lifeasweknowit.’

On route, the actor even clicked selfies with the cops.

Well, we simply loved his jhakaas attitude and hope we catch our fellow commuter on his next train ride soon.
