Madhavan Takes His Golf Obsession To Canada

The Saala Khadoos actor, R.Madhavan who has appeared in several Bollywood and South Indian films recently decided to take a break from his hectic schedule and took off for a long holiday to Canada to unwind and attend the International Film Festival of Alberta.

While the charming actor likes exploring, Madhavan also loves to romance his pause by indulging in his favourite sport — golf. And that’s exactly what the versatile actor did.

Madhavan said, “Playing golf has been the most enjoyable part of my vacation so far. I took it up 12 years ago in Chennai. Now, it has become a passion. I consider it an escape from films. I can spend hours playing. When I am not working, I’m busy golfing. In fact, now everybody in my family plays the sport.”

Talking about family, another thing that this Tanu Weds Manu actor loves doing is spending time with his near and dear ones whenever he’s not busy shooting.

Actor Madhavan with FamilyLast week, he along with his wife and kid flew to Chennai to celebrate his father’s 75th birthday and whisked his father and the rest of the family out for sightseeing.

The quick tour included visiting a few temples located near Chennai’s Adyar River, which was followed by an extravagant vegetarian lunch with his relatives.

“It was great to meet everyone. I always believe that the elders in my family are the reason for my success. So, getting their blessings was one of the best ways to celebrate my dad’s birthday. He has been an inspiration for me, and I like the way he is so comfortable with who he is. I hope I get blessed with the same satisfaction when I’m his age,” said Madhavan.
